Pomegranate Dream
Pomegranate in the garden
My obsession with pomegranates started in the womb.
A thrill for me to watch them grow in my Uncle Leonard's garden in Mexico.
And of course they are a frequent theme in my work.

Uncle Leonard Brooks
What good fortune to have been born into a family of artists.
This is my dear Uncle who turns 100 years young November 2011.
He and my Aunt Reva gave me the opportunity to discover the Arts at the tender and immpressionable age of 16.
Leonard continues to create .
Inspiring....No?

Hospice Heart For 2011
Every year in San Miguel de Allende there is a fundraiser for Hospice. This was my contribution. Mixed media- wood ,clay , lace, acrylic paint, glass, paper.
Many artists contribute. Every artist gets a wooden heart and then embellishes.
It is a very inspiring auction for good cause, close to my own heart.
